BRPG Language (Arnanian Fluency)Edit

Language (Arnanian Fluency) is a character's ability to speak and understand the spoken Arnanian language. Any progression above +10 means that the character is unusually well spoken, but offers no other in-game merit. For progression below +10 this skill must be rolled against a Difficulty Roll to understand the spoken Kelosian language. Failure can only be rechecked at the Game Master's discretion or with someone else's help who has an equal or better bonus.

  • Core Faculty: Rational Thought (RT)
  • Type: Basic
  • Successes: 1 Success/6 hours of regular speaking and/or listening
  • Tutoring: 4 hours
  • Schooling: 2 hours
  • Check Against: Difficulty
  • Difficulty Scale: 1-10
  • Modifications: To have successes or progress through tutoring and schooling, the character must be communicating with a character that has Language (Arnanian Fleuncy) at +10 or higher.

Language (Arnanian Literacy) is a character's ability to read the Arnanian language. Any progression above +10 means that the character has an unusually high reading comprehension, but offers no other in-game merit. For progression below +10 this skill must be rolled against a Difficulty Roll to understand the Kelosian language. Failure can only be rechecked at the Game Master's discretion or with someone else's help who has an equal or better bonus.

For progression below +10 this skill must be rolled against a Difficulty Roll to understand the Ancient Helic language. Failure can only be rechecked at the Game Master's discretion or with someone else's help who has an equal or better bonus.

Failure can only be rechecked at the Game Master's discretion or with someone else's help who has an equal or better bonus.
