Worldbuilding
on a Galactic Scale

About Basilicus | Main Building Guide | Basilicus Prime Galaxy

Black Hole Inatus is a supermassive black hole residing in the center of the Basilicus Prime Galaxy. Its mass has never been calculated because it is impossible to evaluate due to relativity affects. It is estimated, however, that it has the mass of millions of billions of stars.

The size and magnitude of this black hole are enough to put the Basilicus Prime Galaxy into a state of rotation and make a sweeping gaseous vortex out of the Prime Core. No living species has been able to get anywhere near Inatus, however, it is known that the Event Horizon lies very far out relative to other black holes and that the tidal forces are aged, meaning the affect isn't as strong.

Inatus is revered in many cultures for its cosmic power and influence. Early Helic literature claimed it was the center of the universe and over time, the Helics built a coordinate system and a system of time based on Inatus.
