A spaceport is a location where spacecraft take off and land. Spacecraft may be stored or maintained at a spaceport. A spaceport consists of at least one surface such as a runway for a spacecraft to land, a launchpad for takeoffs, and often includes buildings such as control towers, hangars and terminal buildings.

Larger spaceports may have fixed base operator services, space traffic control, passenger facilities such as restaurants and lounges, and emergency services. A military spaceport is known as an spacebase or a space station.

A spaceport with regular intrastellar flights is called an interplanetary spaceport. A spaceport with regular interstellar flights is called an interstellar spaceport.
