Laveaux is the user name for Mark Havenner of Marina del Rey, California. Mark is a working professional for a magazine distibutor, but in his spare time writes fiction, creates games, and builds worlds.

As the founder of Basilicus, Mark hopes to create the largest fictional setting on the internet and wants to create a thriving community of worldbuilders, writers, and creators. A fan of free content and a believer in the open economy, Mark is currently working on several projects using Basilicus including novels and role playing games.
