The WBEM-156 Wide Band EM sensor array is one of the most popular designs of the long range, wide band EM sensor for spacecraft navigation and observation. Manufactured by the Tillia-veh Corporation, this sensor element is normally installed as part of a ship's frontal sensor array, due to its long range capabilities, which make it ideal for navigation for most classes of spacecraft, although not the best choice for extremely fast ships. Equipped with sub-atomic resolution, this sensor allows Telian spacecraft to detect anything from particles to planetoids and stellar phenomena, allowing for the navigational corrections inherently required in space travel.
